The SIR UK Users Group organised the 2006 International Conference and Training sessions. The conference was held at the Macdonald Shakespeare Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon and ran from Wednesday, June 28 to Friday, June 30.

The presentations on the upcoming release of sir, user papers and both introductory and advanced training sessions were interesting and useful.

The 2005 International SIR User conference was held in New York at Columbia University.

The sessions included user presentations, information about SIR/XS, the forthcoming new SIR release and both introductory and advanced SIR training sessions.
